MozyHome Internet Backup
Everyone should use MozyHome as their primary backup method, in my opinion. It is fully automatic, very secure, and highly reliable. If you add pictures to your PC, within hours, they are fully backed up on the Internet, totally automatically.
Mozy Home is located at website www.mozy.com Mozy offers 2GB (2 gigabytes) backup for free, and unlimited backup for $4.95/month, or about $50/year. 2GB is about equivalent to 3 CD's or 1 DVD in size.
The rest of this tutorial will show you how to sign up for and install MozyHome for 2GB for free.

Start by going to www.mozy.com, and locate the box titled "Home Users", which advertises, "Get 2GB absolutely free!", and click on that box.

Register for Free Account
- Enter your Email address - This will always be your Mozy "username".
- Enter a password for Mozy - Do not forget this password, this is how you will retrieve your data from Mozy. You will be asked to enter your password twice.
- Enter the Captcha number - This is to preserve your privacy.
- Click Continue - Go to next screen

On the next screen, fill out the information, and click Continue.

Done with Website
You are now done with the website, when you get to the "Welcome to Mozy!" screen. While this screen seems to ask for information, you can ignore it.
The next step is to go to your EMAIL program, and download the Mozy Program. Do that now.

Click on Link in Email
Click on the link to Mozy in your new email. This will launch the download program, to download Mozy to your computer.

Account Created
On the Account Created screen, which pops up when you click on the Email link, you will be given the options for "Download for Win" for Windows PC's, or "Download for Mac" for Apple Mac's. Click the appropriate button.

Save File
Click on "Save File" to save the Mozy installation file to your computer.

Save File on Computer
On this dialog box, be sure you know where you file is being saved. On Vista, it saves to your personal "Downloads" folder. On Windows XP, you may wish to save it to your desktop, so you can find it.

Download Complete
